Bobbi and I just finished reading the Harry Potter series (we enjoy reading out loud to each other…it gives us something to do instead of watching TV…actually, it’s something we’ve done since we first started dating.  One of our first dates was cooking quiche and reading Les Miserables…well starting to read Les Mis…it took us several YEARS to actually finish the book).

But I digress…I was supposed to be writing about Harry Potter…the Books that Would not Die (I mean the Boy Who would not Die)

Now, before I get hexed by fans everywhere…let me say that overall I enjoyed the books…but I have to admit that I don’t get why they are so freaking popular.

Because to be honest, at times the books were downright boring.

Arthur is a Star Trek Fan!

I just hope that he saves room in his Vulcan-loving heart for some Jedi Joy!

It’s not big enough to have a high-intensity car chase inside of it (ala James Bond, Die Another Day) but Fairbanks has an ice hotel.
