So I’m not even joking here, but in the span of three days or so we went from 40 degrees below zero to pretty close to 40 degrees above zero.
That’s right, an 80 degree difference!

The 25th Anniversary of the Yukon Quest starts this morning. The mushers will be leaving Fairbanks for a 1,000-mile overland journey to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.
While the mushers have been getting geared up for the grueling race, I’ve been working massive overtime to get the News-Miner’s Yukon Quest Web site up and running. It’s sort of the first big test of some of the fun stuff our Web site can do.
