Well, OK, I wasn’t on the Tonight Show, but one of my stories was.

For the past couple of months, Bobbi and I have been remodeling the media room in our house (it’s the room that holds our books, TV, video games, DVDs, and in a few months a baby).
We did it all ourselves (from painting to installing carpet to putting up moulding to building an entertainment center). The whole things was quite the learning experience…but it’s finally done and I’ve got pictures to prove it!

A while ago, Bobbi bought two chairs in Anchorage for $30 (all together). They were this ugly red and Bobbi always said she would reupholster them.
Well, after much weeping and gnashing of teeth (on both our parts), one of the chairs is finally done.
I have to say it looks pretty amazing. But you don’t have to take my word for it…

Our street is so beautiful right now, even if so often it is far too cold to enjoy it.

Bobbi and I were driving in the car today and she casually said (while nonchalantly looking out the window) “Six months…”
She was referring to the fact that she is now in the sixth month of her pregnancy. She may have been nonchalant, but I started freaking out right there on the Steese Highway.
